Baker’s -- A chain that used to be one of the greatest in the 80's - died out during the 90's due to the old man selling it to his sons and they screwed up the business - it's now seeing a comeback and there is a store in the Towson Mall - They used to have a 3 floor store in Chicago!....sizes up to 11 in some styles, great sales

Chi-Chi’s -- cool “designer” shoes, some styles to 11 and 12, carries Jante shoes

Goodwill -- mostly used shoes, sometimes new, few larger sizes, Owings Mills store supposed to have good selection

Hecht’s -- Gone in 2007 but not forgotten, swallowed up by Macy's

Nine West -- mostly classic & casual styles, fair to high prices, well made shoes, some styles in 11's, in most malls and some outlet centers

Nordstrom/Rack -- brand names, great selection in sizes up to 11, some up to 12 and 13, regular store sometimes has better prices..... Nordstrom’s built a lot of it’s reputation with shoes, so needless to say, enjoy yourself

Parade of Shoes -- mall store, all styles up to 10, some to 11, a few up to 12, most are well made and leather... Sorry ladies, they went out of business during the Christmas season of 2004....damn.... that's too bad..... Payless wasn't making enough from this operation to satisfy their stock holders, so they closed it down!

Payless -- most styles up to size 12, some up to a 13, “throw-away-shoes” -- not wellmade or (generally) long lasting shoes

ic Roaman’s -- higher prices on sizes 10 ½ and up, mostly casual and sports styles, fair quality

Long Beach CA -- the main walk -- apparently has it all -- clothing boutiques/wigs/shoes/cosmetics/nail saloons/etc

Mall of America -- exit 2 off of i494 not too far from MSP airport -- this is the grandaddy of American Malls -- 4 floors,  aquarium, indoor amusement park, two days worth of shopping if you go there just for the shopping!!! -- Nordstroms/Sears/more

Manassas Mall -- Manassas VA -- exit 47 south from i64 (VA234)-- nice “small” mall, nice wig shop with TG friendly owner (during  the day), Goodwill and Salvation Arrmy neraby on Sudley Rd (VA234), plenty of places to eat on Sudley

Owings Mills Mall -- Owings Mills MD -- Off i795/Owings Mills Blvd -- Macys/Penneys

Potomac Mills Mall -- Off i95 just south of the DSC Beltway
