I have been overwhelmed by the concern and love that you have expressed in response to my article ""What Scares Me". Several of you have written to me expressing your concern and sharing in the emotions that I expressed. Thank you for being such dear friends.

Apparently my article touched the heartstrings of a number of people. Clearly I am not the only one with some concerns about what lies ahead. Having a transgender personality is not easy for any of us. But through Tri-Ess we have learned that we have a many sisters who share our journey. We've learned that we are not going to change ourselves. We are who we are permanently. We've also learned that we can enjoy who we are and celebrate the great privilege to be able to see life from two sides.

As for yours truly, I have recently come to a great calmness about myself. "What Scares Me" was written a few months ago when I was quite literally "on the edge". Since that time I have recognized and accepted who I am. I will always be, two people.. not quite at ease with either persona.. but comfortable that I can manage to have the best of each world without destroying either.
